My Pink Stamper's Live Challenge

I watched Robyn and Karlee over at My Pink Stamper last night and they wanted everyone to participate in a 30 minute challenge. I couldn't do it last night because I had a cranky baby and a sick child to take care of. I did however complete the challenge today. We had to use the colors pink, purple, and green. I wanted to play around with some ideas for my Christmas cards and this is one of the ideas (minus the colors). I really like how it turned out, but I think that it is missing something. It will bug me all night. Well I hope that you all like it.

Recipe:
Card is 4 1/4 by 5 1/2
White layer is cut at 4 by 5 1/4 then ran through the Cuddlebug snowflakes folder
Penguin and all layers cut at 2 3/4 in
Season's Greetings Stamp from Hero Arts.

Thanks for sstopping by.

Photo Book for MPS challenge

Can you tell I'm working my way back on all of the challenges. See challenge here.
This is a quick album that I put together. All cuts are from Boys will be Boys( my fav for now) at 2 1/2 in. Chipboard cover and back  are cut at 6 1/2 by 4 1/2. All paper is from SU. I really love the colors that I used on this. I then sent it through the Bind it All. ( I love this thing). I then put about 50 photos in it so that I can take them to work to show everyone current pictures of my boys. I took them to the park last weekend and took great photos. I really like the way this turned out and it is a great way for me to store lots of photos before I can scrap them. I think that they will make great gifts. I have been in the craft room much more lately so I think that I will start working on the X-mas gifts that I want to make for my family. Can't wait. I will probably make more of these.

School's Out Goodie Bags

I spent all day on Thursday trying to get these things completed. Every time I would get one complete my little one would wake up and need a diaper change, feeding, or something. It took me about 8 hours to do 20 of these. Should not have taken me that long. I was shocked at how long it actually took me to do them. However, I am happy with the way that they turned out.
I got the clear bags from Michaels a while back. The card stock is from Wal-mart.

I used the school's colors (blue and Yellow) for the cuts.
The black CS is cut at 4 1/2 by  4 1/4.
Used the diamond plate and Divine Swirls embossing folders on the black CS.
I used the Locker Talk Cart for the school's out cut at 2 inches.
I really enjoyed making these. Let me know what you think.

Happy Mother's Day

Today was spent just sitting at home with my family. The boys got to go out side and play in the pool. We took plenty of pictures and I played with my camera a little. I haven't really played with it except to take pictures of the boys. I love the pictures that it takes. This was the little butterfly that was playing in my backyard.

Mail

I just got around to checking the mail and i received the cart that I won from Robyn at Mypinkstamper.com. (Old West). Can't wait to make something. Think I will try it out now. Thank you Robyn.

Mother's Day Cards

I created something. If feels like it has been forever since I have had a few minutes to work in my room.

I created a Mother's Day card. One for my Mom, one for my MIL. and one for my little sister.

I used basic pastel color Cardstock for the cuts. All cuts are from the Mother's Day 2010 cart. I used Stickles on the flower parts of the cuts to bring them out a little. I think that they turned out really well. Mom cut at 1" and the other cut was cut at 3".

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day tomorrow.

Zoo

Went to the zoo today with my son and his Pre-K class. There was about 50 students and almost 75% of their parents went with them. I also took my 2 year old and newborn with me. That was an adventure. I am so tired now. So glad that they are all asleep right now. Guess I will be heading to bed now.

Thank you gift

This is a thank you gift for the girl that planned my baby shower. She asked for something for her baby.  I used new arrival for the cut and PeachKeenStamps for the face. I love the little elephant on New Arrival.

I want to thank Jeannie from aplaceformycards.blogspot.com for the idea of using the the elephant for an Alabama card.

Baby album

This is an baby album that I just completed for a friend of mine. She is having a baby boy in July. All of the pages are very simple so that she isn't limited to what she can put on the pages herself. I didn't want to tell he how many pics to put on each page. I used New Arrival for the cuts.

Package

Well yesterday was a good day. My husband was moping around the house because he hasn't received a package yet. Well when the mail ran last night there was 2 packages waiting. GUESS WHAT!!! They were both for me and they were scrapbooking supplies. Boy was my husband not happy. :)

I received 2 new sets of stamps from PeachyKeenStamps and 5 Carts. I finally received Create A Critter. I am going to love this cart. I hope to get to make something this weekend. I have to get everything moved out of my craft room because of a minor accident that happened. I hope to get everything set back up soon.

Blog!!!!

I know I know. I'm suppose to update this thing more. However when I started it I was about 2 and a half months pregnant with a deployed husband. My boys ages 2 and a half and 5 where the biggest challenge. I was like I'm pregnant I can just set there and update. Boy did my plans back fire.

Well I would like to announce that I have a beautiful baby boy born on April 10th at 1:42 in the morning. He was 7 lbs 7.5 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. I hope to spend some time updating my blog as well as crafting now. I will not make any promises but I have hopes.
