Speed Scrap Sunday!! 1-22-12

I completed the Speed Scrap Sunday challenge over at Mymemories.com FB page.

They host a speed scrap challenge every Sunday night at 8:00 EST.

Be sure to join everyone next week and play along. It is super easy to have someone giving you steps and you follow them. I have competed more LOs with this software than traditional LOs this past year. I love this software and it is super easy to use. 

Speed Scrap Thursday! 1/19/12

I completed a speed scrap challenge over at MyMemories.com FB page on Thursday. Below is the LO that I completed. Believe it or not this is a photo of me when I was a little girl.I really liked the way this turned out. I loved that I found this photo.

January desktop background

I have decided to try and make a new computer background for my computer. I have been using Mymemories Digital Scrapbooking software to make these. I just export the pages to a JPEG and then set them as my background. I have the background set to black and then I add them they have the black background and I like the way they look.

This is a really easy project for me to complete and at the end of the month I can take the background add a great photo and then I have a LO for the month. This is the one that I made for the month of January. I used Winter Nights that you can purchase here at the mymemories.com

Happy New Years Everyone!!! Today is a great day! MY BIRTHDAY!!!

On to the post! I completed the Speed Scrap Sunday challenge over at Mymemories.com FB page.

Here is the LO that I completed. I think I was to redo this one. I'm not sure yet!

I've been doing my digital LO in a 8 1/2 by 11 format so that I can print them at home and stick them in a photo binder for my boys. I think this will be great for them because I can make one page and then print it 3 times for them.

Holiday party mini album

This is a mini album that I made for my day care provider. She has a Christmas party every year for her day care kids. This year my boys weren't going to be there since we were pcsing (military move). This year she still wanted to include them so she had the party early. I wanted to make her something with the photos that I took at the party. Since we were leaving the very next day it had to be something very simple and fast. This was the Eskimo kisses designer template that was a free download. Check out the mymemories.com store for more downloads.



On this I removed all of the journaling blocks and added more photos. This was really easy to do. I let my day care provider add her on journaling to the back.

Speed Scrap Sunday (late) 4 Dec 11

I completed the one of weekly speed scrap Sunday challenge over at MyMemories.com FB page The following Lo is from 4  Dec 11. This is a beautiful picture of my niece and 2 of my boys! The were looking out over the water at the lake.

Remember you can join in on the fun every Sunday at 8 EST. All you have to do is go to the MyMemories FB page. They post steps every 10 minutes or so for an hour and you scrap along with everyone. You have until the next morning to complete the challenge. If you win the challenge they usually give away a small prize. 

This is a great digital software! I love it!!!
