Speed Scrap Sunday!! 1-22-12

I completed the Speed Scrap Sunday challenge over at Mymemories.com FB page.

They host a speed scrap challenge every Sunday night at 8:00 EST.

Funky Card I feel the love project!

I just completed a sympathy card for a wonderful family. You can read their story here. I know that I am almost to the deadline on this. Please if you have time to send this family a card please do. The deadline is 31 Jan.

Project 52 Week 1

I recently started working on a project 52 over on FB with some of the designers from My Memories. This is week 1.

Baby card

I needed a quick card for a coworker that is having a baby boy next month. So I whipped this up!

This was a super quick project that I completed today! I just took a small box from AC Moore and added paper and flowers. Super easy and very cute. Great to put a small Valentines gift in.

Speed Scrap Thursday! 1/19/12

January desktop background

I have decided to try and make a new computer background for my computer. I have been using Mymemories Digital Scrapbooking software to make these. I just export the pages to a JPEG and then set them as my background. I have the background set to black and then I add them they have the black background and I like the way they look.

This is a really easy project for me to complete and at the end of the month I can take the background add a great photo and then I have a LO for the month. This is the one that I made for the month of January. I used Winter Nights that you can purchase here at the mymemories.com

New Years Resolutions!

I’m know that I am getting these up really late. Let’s home that I stick to these a little better than last year. This is the first year that I made non-crafty resolutions. I’m not sure how I did on the ones that I made last year. I don’t think was very close to my goals at all.

Non-crafty:

•  Spend Less/Save More
• Spend more time with my boys
• Exercise 3-4 times a week (be more active)
•  Drink more water/less soda
• Eat better (less fast food)
• Keep laundry caught up
•  Read to boys every night (set up a nightly routine)
• 1 hr per week just for me!
•  Organize
•  Pay off at least one credit card
• Go outside at least once a week(Playtime for boys) (weather?)

Crafty:

• Spend less this year on scrapbook supplies. Last year I spent way too much!
• Craft/blog more
• Create 12-24 traditional/ 50 digital(speed scrap) LOs
•  25 cards
• Participate in at least 1 challenge a month
• 5 altered items/2 mini albums/5 projects
• Work/complete 1^st year albums for boys
•  Include my boys in more crafts
• Send birthday cards out this years to family
• Fill (2) smash books for 2012
• Use Cricut at least 2 times a month
• Work on Savannah’s first year
• Make computer backgrounds for every month. 

I’m going to get started on these this weekend.

Here is the LO that I completed. I think I was to redo this one. I'm not sure yet!

I've been doing my digital LO in a 8 1/2 by 11 format so that I can print them at home and stick them in a photo binder for my boys. I think this will be great for them because I can make one page and then print it 3 times for them.
